Qualified Family Mediators in Surrey

Our principal mediator is Euan Davidson who is a member of the Family Mediators Association and a government-accredited mediator with the Family Mediation Council (enabling him to undertake Mediation Information and Assessment Meetings – MIAMs – and sign the mediator’s section of court forms) and the Legal Aid Agency as well as being a qualified family solicitor with a background in both the advice sector and the international development sector. This varied background enables Euan to understand and engage in the varied issues that people face when their relationships are coming to an end, whilst also providing him with the legal knowledge to ensure that any proposals made are sound from a legal perspective.

Euan is actively involved in the local community and was President of the Godalming and District Chamber of Commerce for 3 years until February 2020.

It may be appropriate in some cases to offer either an alternative mediator or to use a second co-mediator to assist with the mediation process.
